“SEUIL is minimalist sculpture and concrete poetry at the same time. Embroidery patterns and thread are part of the traditional canon of feminine craftsmanship, whereas concrete and lead have a masculine connotation. Apparent opposites are in a fruitful relationship of tension. The work marks an actual passage and at the same time visualizes the intensity of human feelings in the in-between.
